Facing competition from major industry groups, Cavotec Middle East has been nominated as Best Emerging Market Airport Equipment Service Provider in the 2011 Emerging Market Airports Awards. The competition celebrates excellence in the airports sector in Africa, the Indian sub-continent, Russia, CIS, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.
The awards cover a wide variety of categories ranging from Best Airport Design and Planning to Best Communications Service Provider, and even Airport Cargo Personality of the Year. The competition seeks to highlight best practice and significant achievements in the industry, especially in areas such as “recognising, addressing and reducing your airport’s environmental impact“.
The competition is organised by Dubai-based event-management company Arabian Reach, that specialises in hosting awards, exhibitions, conferences and road shows in the Airports, Aviation, Logistics, Education & Leisure sectors.
